Where I've worked

Three engineering co-ops at Speed School, plus teaching, research, and a long run in healthcare.

  1. Co-opJan – May 2026· Louisville, KY

    Software Engineer Co-op

    Citation Labs

Third co-op at Speed School. Built a Python REST API + batch NLP pipeline that detects whether LLM citations to YouTube videos are grounded or hallucinated, with a live demo deployed on Vercel.

    • Designed a FastAPI service for transcript/metadata extraction (yt-dlp, faster-whisper).
    • Built a spaCy-NER + embedding + local-LLM pipeline to label and score citation hallucination.
    • Analyzed 812 production citations across GPT, Gemini, AI Overview, and AI Mode.
